French is taught beginning in preschool. Initially, these lessons introduce the concept of foreign language to preschoolers through songs and conversation. In subsequent years, Pinecrest students considerably expand their knowledge of French, readying them for future language training critically important in today's ever-shrinking world. In fourth and fifth grade, students attend French class five days a week and receive a grade on their report cards for the subject.
