Application Fee and Registration Fee

There is a one-time, non-refundable fee of $75.00 per child that must be submitted with each completed application for admission to Pinecrest School.

Once accepted, there is a non-refundable fee of $200.00 per child for new students and a $150.00 fee for returning students. Once the registration fee is received, the child has secured a place in the class.

Tuition

The initial non-refundable tuition payment for returning students is due April 1, 2008, and will be applied to tuition for June 2009.

The initial non-refundable tuition payment for new students is due April 1, 2008, OR June 2, 2008, depending on receipt/acceptance of application. This payment will be applied to the June 2009 tuition.

Supplies

Tuition rates cover all regular school activities and most field trips. A supply list will be sent to you over the summer by your child’s teacher. Supplies should be brought to school by the first day of school in September.

Book, Materials, And Snack Fee

This fee is per child and is non-refundable.

Preschool Snack and Materials Fee - $80.00
K-Grade 2 Books and Materials Fee - $175.00
Grades 3–6 Books and Materials Fee – $200.00

Tuition Reduction

If full tuition is paid in one payment on or before September 1st, a three percent (3%) tuition reduction will be applied.

Families with multiple children enrolled at the school will pay full tuition for their oldest child and will enjoy a 15% reduction on each additional child’s tuition.

Financial Aid

Need-based financial aid is available. Financial aid forms should be submitted with application forms for new students or with registration forms for returning students. See enclosed form.

Tuition Late Charges

For the monthly payment plan, tuition must be received by Pinecrest School by the first business day of each month. All payments received after the fifth (5th) of the month should include a late payment penalty of $25.00 and an additional $50.00 will be assessed after 30 days. If tuition payments are late for more than any three (3) months during the school year, the Board of Trustees Finance Committee shall, at its discretion, require payments to be made more than one month in advance. There will be a $25.00 charge for any returned checks. Should more than two (2) checks be returned during the school year, the Board of Trustees Finance Committee shall, at its discretion require payments to be made in cash, money order, cashier’s check or certified check.

After-Care Fees

K-6 students attending Pinecrest School may attend the school’s After-Care Program on a regularly scheduled or drop-in basis. After-care runs Monday-Friday from 3:30-6 p.m. Any family wishing to use the after-care program at any point during the school must complete an after-care registration form and submit a one-time, non-refundable $25.00 registration fee. Space is limited, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Plan A – Full-time Attendance (Student attends M-F every week of the school year)

Monthly charge of $4.00 per student for the first half hour and then $8.00 per student per hour or any portion thereof

Plan B – Drop-in Attendance (Student attends occasionally on a schedule that may vary from week to week or on a random drop-in basis)

Monthly charge of $5.00 per student for the first half hour and then $10.00 per student per hour or any portion thereof

A $10.00 late pick-up fee is charged if the child is picked up between 6-6:10 p.m. and an additional $1.00 per minute is charged after 6:10 p.m. Advance notice of late arrival by the parent does not nullify the late fee. Frequent late pick-ups may cause the child’s dismissal from the program.

Bus Fees

Limited bus transportation is available for families living within six (6) miles of the school. Rates are based on distance between pick-up location and school. A discount is given for multiple riders picked up at the same location. Riders do not need to be related. Late bus fees are assessed in the same manner as late tuition payments.
