At Preschool Pavilion, we believe that summer camp is a good place to learn, explore, make new friends and have fun and that children do this best through play. In a warm, relaxed setting, children will be provided a variety of experiences to encourage positive physical, social and emotional growth while basic values such as honesty, respect for others, and an appreciation for diversity are reinforced. Preschool Pavilion campers will follow a typical preschool schedule with time for independent choice, small and large group activities, and playtime in our multipurpose room or outdoor playground. Music, stories, crafts and creative play will revolve around the theme of the week.
Our Preschool Pavilion program will be taught by Ms. Kara Jackson and Mrs. Leigh Harte, both experienced with preschool-age children and both returning teachers to Pinecrest Summer Pavilion. Ms. Jackson (teaching weeks 1-4) and Mrs. Harte (teaching weeks 5-8) will work together to build a cohesive program that will provide structure and consistency for any children attending more than one session.
All children attending Preschool Pavilion must be potty trained and must be four-years-old by September 30, 2012.
After-care is not available for Preschool Pavilion
