Head of School Search

The 2022-23 school year marks Head of School Nicole McDermott’s 18th year leading our school and her final year at Pinecrest, with her last day being the end of June 2023. The school is immensely grateful for Nicole’s accomplishments, leadership, and contributions to the Pinecrest community for nearly two decades. The Board of Directors has formed a search committee and retained a third-party executive search firm that specializes in school placements. The process will be as transparent as possible without compromising the confidentiality of candidates, and additional information about the process will be communicated to the entire community as that information becomes available.
