We offer one-week sessions for campers from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. Rising 7th graders who have previously attended Pinecrest Pavilion or Pinecrest School are also welcome to participate. With our revamp of Pinecrest Pavilion into Camp Pinecrest, our goal is to bring back the true spirit of summer: play, connection, and fun! Each week features a unique theme that carries through daily activities and builds excitement toward a special end-of-week event. Each day feels like a classic throwback camp experience, filled with fresh air, hands-on fun, and screen-free adventures.

Before and After Care
After-care is available for all full-day campers from 3:35–6:00 p.m. We hope to offer before-care as well, though this will depend on staffing. A final decision will be shared closer to the start of summer. If available, before-care would run from 8:00–8:30 a.m., but is not guaranteed at this time.
More information regarding pricing can be found on the registration and fees page.
Pre-Kindergarten
Our pre-kindergarten program is open to children who will turn 4 years old by September 30 of the upcoming school year (or who are currently enrolled in Pinecrest School preschool). Campers must be fully toilet-trained and have prior preschool experience. Families may choose either a half-day or full-day option for pre-kindergarten campers.
Full-day pre-kindergarten camp runs from 8:50 a.m. to 3:35 p.m., while the half-day option runs from 8:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. After-care is available for full-day pre-kindergarten campers until 6:00 p.m. While a half-day option is available, we encourage families to consider the full-day experience when possible. Full-day campers enjoy the complete camp day, including special afternoon activities and camp-wide experiences. Half-day campers will still have a fun and engaging experience, but may miss some of the extended activities and memorable moments that make Camp Pinecrest especially special.
Kindergarten Through Rising 7th Grade
Rising 7th graders with prior attendance at Pinecrest Pavilion or Pinecrest School are invited to join sessions that include 6th graders. Camp Pinecrest offers full-day programming for all kindergarten through 6th grade campers, ensuring a well-rounded day of activities, creativity, and play.
Rising 8th Grade Through 15 Years Old
Former Pinecrest School students or Pinecrest Pavilion campers who are rising 8th graders through age 15 during the summer are encouraged to apply for our Assistants-in-Training (AIT) program. Accepted campers will be registered as AITs through the general camp registration form. For full program details, eligibility requirements, and application information, please visit the AIT page. Check out our A.I.T. page for more information!

Camp Pinecrest Policies
Medication Administration
-
Parents/guardians of any child requiring prescription medication during the camp day are required to submit an Authorization to Administer Medication form that has been completed by parents/guardians and the child’s physician. This form is available in the Summer Camp Forms section of the website. Pinecrest accepts only the Pinecrest School Authorization to Administer Medication form. A separate form must be provided for each medication being used. Form(s) must be on file by the due date, or within 7 days of registering if registering after this date. A guideline sheet for how to ensure this form is filled out correctly will be provided to parents/guardians in advance by the Pinecrest office.
-
Medication should be brought to Pinecrest at the beginning of the week by a parent/guardian and must be picked up at the end of the week by a parent/guardian. Children may not transport their own medication. All medication must be in the original container, with the child’s name, the name of the medication and the dose of the medication indicated on the prescription label. All medications are placed in a locked location and may be dispensed only by the Camp Director, Assistant Camp Director, Head of School or Administrative Assistant.
-
Pinecrest School does not dispense non-prescription medication unless it is part of an allergy management protocol, and we have a Pinecrest School Authorization to Administer Medication form on file. Please arrange dispensing times, so that medication is not required during the hours your child will attend camp.
